Chief Revenue Officer (CRO)

Ultimate Staffing Recruiting is seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) on behalf of a confidential client. This executive leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, expanding business opportunities, and supporting the organization's long-term strategic objectives.

The CRO will report directly to the President & CEO and will play a key role in identifying new revenue streams, building high-value partnerships, and enhancing organizational growth and market presence.

Salary: $185,000

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with organizational goals and revenue targets.
  • Grow and diversify revenue through strategic partnerships, sponsorships, advertising opportunities, affinity programs, and other business development initiatives.
  • Identify, cultivate, negotiate, and manage relationships with industry partners and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain long-term partnerships that deliver measurable value and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Analyze market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities to identify new business prospects and competitive advantages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative partnership opportunities across events, educational programs, digital platforms, and special initiatives.
  • Represent the organization at industry conferences, networking events, and business meetings to promote the organization's mission and strengthen strategic relationships.
  • Negotiate partnership contracts and ensure successful execution of all commitments and deliverables.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), revenue goals, and partnership metrics to measure success and return on investment.
  • Stay informed on industry news, market trends, and consumer behaviors to support strategic decision-making.

Leadership & Management

  • Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to assigned team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture across departments.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to support organizational growth initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve company objectives and maximize partnership opportunities.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in business development, strategic partnerships, sponsorship sales, revenue generation, association management, or related executive-level roles.
  • Demonstrated success in generating revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Experience working within associations, nonprofit organizations, membership-based organizations, or similar industries is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of partnership development, relationship management, and revenue-generating business models.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Atlas, or similar systems.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and maintain lasting business relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing sponsorship programs, strategic alliances, or corporate partnership initiatives.
  • Familiarity with membership-based organizations, associations, or nonprofit revenue models.
  • Experience analyzing market trends and leveraging data to support business growth strategies.
